Smart Tint® Installation for Double Hung Window Contact Switch

Safety circuit designed for double hung windows, sliding doors , partitional wall systems or any operable door or window you wish to control with our Smart Tint® technology.

Step 1: Drill cavity for the male contact switch to seat in.
Smart Tint PDLC Film
Step 2: Align Female Pod
Smart Tint Electric Window Film
Step 3:  Attach 20 gauge solid core copper wire to contact lead on back of switch.
Smart Tint On Off Ceramic Tint
Step 4:  Core Drill  small hole for wire to fit through. **DONT hit glass with drill bit**
Smart Tint Switchable Film
Step 5: Trim wire to size and low heat solder to film.
Smart Tint Smart Film
Step 6:  Solder (low heat) NOT exceeding 400 degrees.
Smart Tint Switchable Electric Window Tint
Step 7: Soldered and wired complete.

Step 8: Trim Kit Installation

Step 9:   Acid Free neutral cure Silicone Only
